Basic Steps in the Small Claims Process

    1. Fill out the Small Claims Complaint. Why you are suing. 
    2. Fill out the Summons (Small Claims). Notifies the other party.
    3. Fees vary depending on the claim amount. Fee amounts.
    4. Pick a court date. Small Claims Cases are heard any M-F in Room 111.  Allow time for
        for service of Summons to be completed.
    5. File the paperwork at the Circuit Clerks Office.
